Remembering the last wash
Was the last bath yesterday—or the day before?
Some evenings, the little details blur together. A wash log gives you somewhere to check.
After a bath or shower, add the entry. Next time you’re wondering, look at the last wash. If your child wants to join in, they can do the happy tap once washing is finished.
Keep it on paper with the weekly record, or use TubTime on Android. Choose the routine that works for your family.

Record a real wash after it happens. This is a record, not a timetable, a duration timer or advice about how often anyone should wash.
Write down the useful basics.
You don’t need a detailed diary. A date and “bath” or “shower” are enough to start. Add a time or short note only if it will help you recognise the entry later.
| Date | What happened | Optional time | Optional note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14 October | Shower | 7:10 pm | Logged after washing |
| 16 October | Bath | — | Time not recorded |
Leave uncertain details blank. A blank row means no entry was made; it does not prove that a wash didn’t happen.
Use the same small steps each time.
Finish the wash first.
Once the bath or shower is over, record it. Avoid marking a future wash as complete.
Choose one place for the record.
Use a paper sheet or one device as your main record so you know where to check. In TubTime, choose the right profile and tap Log Bath or Log Shower.
Check before adding another entry.
If another caregiver may already have logged it, look at the most recent entry first. A mistaken duplicate can make the record harder to interpret.
Correct mistakes rather than guessing.
On paper, cross out the incorrect entry clearly. TubTime lets parents delete a wash entry. If you aren’t sure when a wash happened, don’t invent a date or time.
Make handovers easier to understand.
Agree who will record a wash, and which record everyone should check. Keep notes short and practical. Avoid adding sensitive health details or more identifying information than you need.
If you use the printable, keep the completed sheet somewhere private. If you use TubTime on more than one device, remember that each device has its own local history: there is no TubTime account or cloud sync. A purchase of Plus doesn’t add sync.
Use a separate paper sheet for each person if you need separate records. In the app, Free supports one child profile; Plus adds extra profiles with separate history and progress.
Choose paper, or keep it in TubTime.
A free weekly sheet
Print a blank record and write entries by hand. Rows are deliberately undated, so the sheet doesn’t suggest a wash every day. Use another row or sheet whenever needed.

The Android app
TubTime Free includes one profile, after-wash bath/shower logging, last wash, level, XP, streak and the ten most recent saved logs. The free display limit doesn’t delete older entries.
Optional one-time Plus adds extra profiles, all saved history and filters, Splash Quest, custom reminders and all ten themes. No subscription; Google Play shows the current local price before payment.
View TubTime on Google PlayParents can explore Plus using the separate sample-family demo with no purchase or time limit. Demo records aren’t your family’s record, and demo reminders aren’t sent. Exit to return to your family.
A few things to keep in mind.
- TubTime is for Android 8.0 and later. Core logging works offline; buying or restoring Plus needs internet access and Google Play.
- There are no TubTime accounts, ads or cloud sync. Android backup may copy app data according to your device settings.
- A simple parent question protects access to grown-up settings, purchases and data controls. It is a gate, not account authentication.
- Reminders are approximate and depend on Android permissions and battery settings. They’re a prompt, not a washing recommendation.
- A log records what you entered. It doesn’t confirm that a wash happened or measure cleanliness, health or behaviour.
